The Fosshotel is located approximately half an hour from the beautiful glacial lake Jökulsárlón. The hotel is located in the middle of a rugged landscape and offers a beautiful view from the restaurant.
Whether you are on a day trip or want to stay there, you can eat excellent gluten-free food. If you only want to eat at the restaurant, make a reservation in advance. The staff are very knowledgeable about the gluten-free diet and are happy to tell you what is safe to eat. The food is not cheap, as with everything in Iceland, but you can count on an excellent dinner.
